Dont' hear too much Chow discussion about this restaurant. Thinking about taking my wife there for her upcoming birthday. Any recent reviews?

Looks like they have a 5 course for $60, 8 course for $85 and Super Omakase for $195. The Super Omakase is probably overkill for us, so is 8 course menu the way to go to sample his good dishes?

Anyone have experience with their wine pairing? They charge $65 for the wine pairing for the 8 course dinner. Seems a bit steep, but if it's good, I want to get it.

    Been twice. Excellent both times.

How recently is recently? You posted in this thread from when they first opened: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/918914. I dunno if much as changed. Seems like still a sure bet for excellent high-end cooking.

yeah that was 3 months. A lot can change in 3 months for a brand new restaurant.

Most of the yelp reviews seem to be very positive.
