Best bread around JTM

Simon Patrice Jan 9, 2014 06:25 PM

With Joe la croûte being closed until the 16th, what would be a good alternative for great bread around JTM?

There is another one (did not try yet) on Bélanger (north side of the street) on the corner of Boyer

Well, not exactly the other side of town, but I wouldn't call Mont-Royal and St-Laurent "around JTM".

Guillaume is a bit closer, but they are also closed now, for their move.

Even though I live near the market, I made the trek to hof kelsten this morning...

But a little closer is this decent place right next to the Plaza St Hubert:

Sadly, with the weather we had today, I just settled for Première Moisson. I'll have to try Le pain dans les voiles and Hof Kelsten some other time.

Is Le Pain dans les voiles open? That is a couple of minutes north of the market (very short block).

Any favorites at Le pain dans les voiles?

They're all good, but le pain du peuple is maybe their most unique one.

Yes they are. And yes it's the best bread around the market.
