Visiting Burlington, VT for work.

  • 3

I will be in Burlington for about 5 days. I am staying at the Hilton by the aquarium. I won't have a vehicle, but have no problem walking a bit if its for a good meal and some beers.

My sister has recommended American Flatbread which looks good. Any other thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

  1. I highly recommend typing burlington in the upper right search box. There have been so many lovely threads recently about great places right down town that it's going to be hard to distill.

My personal favorites are Single Pebble and Trattoria Delia. I've heard so many good things about the newer places in town, though. Worth looking into! :)

    1. I had an amazing meal at Trattoria Delia, downtown Burlington.

Also like: Penny Clues Café, The Skinny Pancake and Sweetwater.

My favorite Thai place is Tiny Thai, but that's out of town unfortunately! Plenty to eat in Burlington!

      1. Verita over Flatbread (and only about 1 block further on St. Paul)....Burlington Bay Market makes nice sandwiches/salads in a casual atmosphere (and they serve beer....) $1.00 oysters at the bar at Hen of the Wood (I think from 4:00 -5:00 and again late night, check their website for details....1 block from hotel on Cherry St.) Went to Tratt Delia last night...great as always (easy walk form hotel, even when it is minus 12 degrees)....Farmhouse has great beer selection and burgers are the way to go there (also an easy walk from hotel)
