        <content>Chocolate Secrets, formerly in the West Village, opened a few days ago in a new location on Oak Lawn at Avondale.  (See their web site below.)
 
Sampled a few of their truffles at the new location.  They're large (about as big as a golf ball).  But the enrobing chocolate was fairly waxy, ganaches were too dense and not sufficiently smooth, and the flavoring often overwhelmed the chocolate.  At $3 a pop, one can do much better with a number of higher-end mass-produced chocolates.
 
Will Dallas ever get a true artisanal chocolatier?
