Legal baked goods
Now that it is legal in Boulder, does anyone have any recipes?
It's not legal here. I'm really not interested in trying this, don't even like the stuff. Just sayin'. :)
I read an article many years ago- must have been around 1980- by a San Francisco chef who had a side business making and delivering 'special' baked goods.
He said the key to a quality product was to steep the herb in clarified butter, then strain and use the infused butter in place of regular butter in any recipe. I don't remember how long he let it steep. Supposedly the active ingredients in pot are fat soluble and are absorbed into the butter.
If you do it this way you avoid a lot of green gunk in your treats.
Good luck! :)
