The food was horrible in the last two years it was open.
The restaurant on Horatio St was 86 years old. I have never heard of any branch of it being the original except for that one. There might be 1000 places with that name, but I can't imagine that not being the original. There was even an Il Faro on 23rd St. I think.
I also remember El Faro having a branch in the Franconia Hotel on the UWS back in the 70's. They made a good lobster in cream sauce.
Please show some documentation on El Faro originating in PR.

Please show some documentation? What are you a lawyer? The only documentation I have is being in PR, eating at El Faro and they telling me that had a sister rest in NYC on Horation street.

If i were a lawyer i would be foodwhisperer,Esq. So , no i'm not a lawyer. It is just hard to fathom that a restaurant that is 87 years old, or there a bouts is not the original, that's all. I thought you maybe saw it written somewhere. I searched and found nothing. So I asked. It wasn't a malicious request, just a request. Are you really a Prince? j/k i know you are the prince of pork.
