KOKIO KOREAN CHICKEN - ANYONE BEEN
Just saw they opened on Western near Beverly. Have heard good things but not been. Going to try to get by on the way home. Anyone been? Thoughts?
The taste is half way between Kyochon and Chicken Day. The whole chicken, as you probably found out, is priced slightly higher than Kyochon. The spicy isn't as spicy as Kyochon, but it is plenty crispy, plenty crunchy. Tastes nearly exactly the same as the old Country Koko ( http://sinosoul.com/2013/03/country-k... ) since the owner apparently moved to the new joint.
It's way better than BBQ Chicken for sure. As is with all KFC, call it in earlier for take-out since it takes a bit. It'll be the go-to KFC until Kyochon opens up again.
