Heating Up Fried Chicken?
What's the best way you found to heat up room temperature fried chicken so that its former crispiness returns? Thanks in advance.
Toaster oven in high heat or broil.
Preheat tray in oven too.
You lose a bit of oil but skin comes out crisp.
I also use it to reheat fried fish, pizza and other things that do not work in the micowave but take too long in the oven unless under the broiler.
Pizza can be reheated on the stove top in a cast iron heated pan, but chicken I;ve had no luck with.

It's worked for me, but I cover the pan....and use a low flame.
225-250* in a preheated oven for 20-30 minutes.
Toaster Ovens work, but they vary greatly in quality and size...so you may get mixed results.
