Birthday dinner for 8-10?

  • 3

I'm throwing a birthday dinner in Vegas in March, and am trying to come up with a restaurant where I can host 8-10 people. I'm looking for someplace with a buzzy vibe, preferably on or near the Strip, but the quality of the food is more important than the scene. Restrictions: one person doesn't eat any seafood, one's a vegetarian, and one has celiac and needs gluten-free options. Ideas for a place that'll please everyone, and which won't be more than $75 a person (not counting alcohol)?

Thanks!

  1. I would look to one of the tapas restaurants, which there are plenty. They all have fairly good vibes and will appeal to all in your party. Personally I would go to Jaleo with Julian Serano a very close second. Jaleo is in Cosmopolitan which is quite the scene while JS is in Aria. Have never been but have been tempted to go to Firefly. It is off the strip so prices will be less but more inconvenient.

Checked out the menu and Jaleo looks tasty... I've been to other Jose Andres restaurants and they're usually pretty excellent. Thanks for the suggestion!

    2. I don't know about their sea food or gluten free options but, you might want to ask. The place would be perfect otherwise.
