Papa's Tomato Pies - Robbinsville, NJ

We finally made it here to try their "famous" pies. What the heck took us so long? Had an antipasto and large plain pie - go here folks, this is good pie (and anti too!). Great location, plenty of parking, very warm restaurant, not pretentious at all. We will certainly add this to our tour of various pizzerias in the area. Plenty of other food was being brought to other tables and it looked delicious as well. Return visit to happen very shortly................perhaps over the weekend. Only $5 for a meatball sandwich and the like, ridiculous.....McD's costs more. It is a BYOB for those interested.

So sorry to see the Chambersburg branch close down.

You gotta have the salad with vinegar and oil. Very old school. My mother used to serve iceberg lettuce with slightly out-of-season tomatoes.
