Help from my dear singapore fellow-hounds please!

I turn 40 at the end of this month and I would like to treat my nearest and dearest family and friends, to an informal, ideally, sit-down dinner (am amenable to a cocktail party).
The guest list will be around 30 people on a Sunday evening. I want to be closer to the CBD. I'm thinking Western/Fusion and if possible, field to table. Perhaps ~$50-75 a head? A rooftop cocktail bar would be nice too but since I want the budget to be smaller, I doubt I'll get everything I want. Someone suggested Moosehead but they are quoting me double what I want to pay. Any suggestions please? Any hidden finds I should check out?

  1. Try Immigrants at Joo Chiat Road

    1. I think Lime House on Jiak Chuan St or the Disgruntled Chef at Dempsey Hill may suit your requirements.
