            +1, love their eggplant confit app.
            Le bonne soupe, also in midtown, is another more casual option, i like their mulligatawny and crepes

              Thanks everyone! I took strange md's pic of Benoit. Unfortunately, we got there at 4, and kitchen was closed. (I know I should have called first!) I was really looking forward to having dinner here as it was one my to go to list, but just always forgot about it.

              We had a some wine in the bar, but knew our toddler could not wait another 1 1/2 hour, and my mother was with all of us and she wanted to go to Serafina since it was only down the street. So that is where we winded up.

                I didn't realize you meant EARLY. I was thinking maybe 5. Give Benoit a try sometime when you get a chance, it's really very good.

                  I thought we were also going to go for dinner @5ish. I will save that place for a date night with me and my husband!! And it won't be at 5!! Ha ha
