    You can't miss with Del Frisco's. Great steaks and excellent service.

      Joe T. Garcia's and The Original Mexican Eats Cafe for the BEST Mexican food in town.

        Two places I absolutely will not go ... on my list of the worst in town.

          I'll concur with foiegras on both - overrated, and The Original has everything swimming in grease (plus, well, they're not downtown).

          Downtown proper? There's several steak places. Daddy Jack's has some good seafood dishes. Pirahna is highly rated for sushi. 8.0's has good drinks but mediocre food. The Flying Saucer has a few good sandwiches (space club), but is a bar.
