Lunch & Dinner between Penn Station and Music Box Theatre

  • 5

Hi,

I am going to a Broadway Saturday 2:30pm show in January and am looking for lunch and dinner recommendations. I am looking for restaurants for lunch and a place for dinner between Penn Station and Music Box Theatre (Won't have a car). I have done a lot of google research and the two ideas I came up with are Dafni Greek Taverna and Tony's Di Napoli. As far as price and types of food we like, we really like any type of food except Sushi. In terms of price, I'd like lunch to be around $15 pp or less and dinner around $20-$24 pp. Also, restaurants need to be wheelchair accessible. Thanks in advance.

  1. I have been to Dafni once. I don't remember it that well, but it was OK. Nothing memorable, but it meets your criteria.

    1. Ollie's

      1. Would there be anything for dinner besides Tonys that would be good but might avoid the big crowds?

          Try tratoria trecolori:

        2. Another choice is Lugo Caffe on 8th and 33rd. Pretty decent Italian, nothing spectacular. If they have the crispy pork shank it is very good and huge. There are a few steps to get into the restaurant but I am pretty sure there is a ramp (but call to check).
