merguez in northern Westchester?

  • 4

I'm always on the lookout for merguez for a recipe I've got. Haven't seen it yet. Any ideas on who might have it? Croton area is best, but I get down as far as Scarsdale from time to time.

  1. I've bought it from Auray in Larchmont before. I would check to see if Whole Foods and Fairway carry it.

I made my monthly or so trip to Fairway in Nanuet today and they did have some-- not house made, but D'artanian brand, which is good enough for me, as I've struck out everywhere I've looked over the last year or so. (Have a recipe I cut out a long time ago that requires it). Thanks!

Glad you were able to find it! Overall, I've been very happy with D'artagnan's products, so I hope it works well for you.

    2. How about asking Craig Purdy at Tagine what source he uses?
