exporting search results

  • 2

I'm doing some research and I would like to experiment with a large data set. Let's say I do a search on CH for "burrito" and get close to 20,000 results. Is there a way to export those results to analyze them and/or create some sort of data visualization that graphically maps how often people use a word like "authentic"? I'm a total N00B at this and have no idea how to proceed. Any help you all can give would be great.

Thanks!

  1. I notice that when I do a search for the entire site and for all years using the search term "burrito" (without the quote marks) I get 19,907 results http://www.chow.com/search?q=burrito+...

Now I did a search with the same parameters using the search term "burrito + authentic" (again without quote marks) I get 80 results http://www.chow.com/search?q=burrito+...

Now I tried "authentic burrito" (for the entire site and all years) I got 1867 results http://www.chow.com/search?q=burrito+...

Strange. Seems like you would get fewer for "authentic burrito" than "burrito + authentic"
