Happy hour/Drinks at bar Freehold area

I need a place to meet a friend of mine who has not been out since before her 1 year old was born!!

She wants to stay close to her home (Freehold area)

Any thoughts?? Don't even mention Metropolitan, please !!

Was thinking of Osteria In Marboro, but I might need a part time job to have drinks there. lol

Or that new place where Pino's use to be. (Marlboro)

We want to sit at bar, have a few apps and laughs!!

Thanks for any help!!!

  1. Moore's Tavern, near Centrastate Hospital.

    1. How about the bar at the American Hotel?

      1. If you don't mind going into the madness of the Freehold Mall or at least the parking lot.Brio has $5 drinks & $4 apps,I think it starts at 3 on weekdays You might want to call to verify.Their website shows the specials.

        1. good ones!!! Thanks..totally forgot about these places!

I would second Brio at the mall, if it stinks you have Pf Changs and perhaps a few others within walking distance.

You ruled out the Metro, American Hotel can draw a strange crowd, plus if that gut Rick Meile is singing you will prat to God to remove your hearing. Moores I don't like since the renovated and it gets very loud as does Osteria, plus that crowd can get annoying too.

The PF Chang's by me serves my drink of choice, Crown Royal on the Rx, in a 12 ounce Old Fashioned glass right to the top.....$10 Bucks.....they must think it's well liquor.

I'm suddenly in the mood for fake Chinese food....thanks for awakening the Demons.

I would third Brio. I went there for my birthday (solo). Had a couple of apps. The beef carpaccio was AWESOME.. also had a shrimp appetizer that was quite good. A few apps and drinks off their $5 menu certainly won't break the bank. When I was there, the bar area was quite quiet.
