Baltimore restaurant recommendations

Hi! I'll be in Baltimore in January and am looking for some places to eat.
I'll be in and around the Baltimore Convention Center a bunch, so anything around there would be much appreciated, but anything that can be reached by public transport is great too!
I'm open to just about anything, hole-in-the-wall to fine dining, though there's really only potential for one splurge meal, if that, so keeping things on the more affordable side would be helpful too.
Thanks in advance!
Lots of threads on this on this board, so you might want to do an initial search. Also, the Baltimore City Paper is a good source of off beat. One palce I relly like is Mama's On the Half Shell in Canton, about a 20 min cab ride away.
Search the board for neighborhoods walkable or quick cab from Convention Center: Inner Harbor, Federal Hill, Harbor East, Fells Point, Canton.
The board would be happy to give more specific recs, but right now it's unclear whether you are looking for: white tablecloths and splurge (e.g. Charleston) or bourbon tasting and charcuterie (e.g. Bluegrass) or a raw bar (e.g. Thames Street Oyster House), etc., etc?
