Prepared Christmas Dinner delivery to your door in Montreal 2013

The place I use to get it at doesn't do it anymore.

I just want to reheat and serve, does anyone know of such a place that does this for xmas 2013?

  1. Nope, but someone should. For how many people and what neighbourhood or suburb? (Assuming you are in or near Mtl).

Just called the Metro they do not do it, they do more party platters and finger foods and sandwiches.

Mcbay resto in the west island? I would call for you but I am at work.

          1. re: humbert

Is McBay really good? It looks dirty to me but I went only one time; which is not the true test...I would do the same as clivebuckwheat

    1. Which place did it in the past?

Didn't Le Tour du Chef do that? Does anyone know where Chef Antoine has gone to?

      2. 21st century foods did it 2 years ago and it was absolutely wonderful, but they for whatever reason do not do it anymore.

I am looking for a traditional xmas dinner, turkey, potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, vegetables and stuffing, for 5 people. I am located in Lasalle Montreal, a dinner that i would just have to re-heat would be great.

There has to someone that still does this in a large city like Montreal. So I am looking for help from the chowhounds,

I have a friend in the US who always get a roasted bird with the trimmings at her grocery store. I am not sure they do that here. If you can convince the catering department of a grocery store to do it, it might be your cheapest bet.

Otherwise, you could call around caterers and see if they still have openings for Christmas.

          1. re: hala

No Grocery store does that here, it would be great if they did but none do to my knowledge. I am still hopeful someone on chowhound knows of a place that prepares a traditional Christmas dinner that just can be reheated and served.

I think it would have to be a caterer; hotels might do such, but not deliver. Can't imagine that it would be easy finding a caterer right now...

              1. re: lagatta

Are you not able to pick it up and bring home? That would open up other possibilities.

                1. re: williej

If I had to pick it up I would on the 24TH.

Contact Maitre Boucher on Monkland. Not sure if they do this, but worth a try.

IGA does it: roast turkey with garlic and rosemary potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce.

But you had to make reservations for it before December 16th...

                1. re: carolilas

It is still worth a try to phone them.

                  1. re: carolilas

Curious. I looked on their website before responding and they do not list that. Is it a specific location? Or does everyone make turkey?

                    1. re: hala

It's on the site, in the Celebration ready category.

            2. do you want a whole turkey? if not, there is this place:

              1. You could email Chanty on the Seekrit list
They will have a Turkey list with Christmas food options coming out over the weekend, for pick up on the 23rd/24th.
