Costo frozen fish

  • 6

I was not raised to eat fish. I am trying to learn to like various preparations. I have tried Costco's fish sticks, Tortilla Crusted Tilapia, Basil Pesto Tilapia, Southwest Chipotle Cod. I have liked them all. I prefer mild fish. What other Costco frozen fish can you recommend? Please confine your response to Costco, thanks.

  1. We've had their bagged frozen scallops, the extra large frozen shrimp, but also the fish they sell in the case (which you can break into meal sized portions and freeze yourself) which includes the cod, the mussels, the salmon and the lobster tails. All mild fish.

    1. I like the Cod sold prepackaged. I defrost it and sauté it in coconut oil with salt and pepper. Very mild and delicious.

      1. I haven't gone wrong with a Trident product yet. The salmon and mahi mahi burgers are good.

        1. We really like the salmon burgers, in the freezer section near the pre made burgers. Not fishy at all. Last night we had them with the basil mustard sauce I impulsed bought at the IKEA food shop. YUM!

Their IGF varieties are great. We like grilling (in season) the maui maui and serving with a fresh peach or mango salsa.

          1. Frozen sea bass. IQF too.

            1. Costco has some very good quality fresh seafood selections. I'd recommend you graduate from the frozen prepared stuff. They have excellent halibut, scallops, tiger shrimp, salmon etc.
