Bread Pudding

Just back from NO and had a question about bread pudding I posted on Home Cooking. It has garnered zilch replies so I thought I'd see if a reference here might gather some opinions.

    It may be the restaurants style, or there may be a commercial reason for some bread puddings being dryer. A dry one might sit better (and get rid of more old bread)

    I rarely order bread pudding in a restaurant but I have recieved and have seen others receive bread pudding that has been eaten with a fork and others eaten with a spoon.
