Hi all,
This is only sort of food related but I figured you guys might know. Does anyone know where I can get some oplatek in North East Ohio? I just moved here. I've called a few Christian stores but no one seems to know what it is. I think I am going to start calling Polish bakeries tomorrow.
Thanks!

do you mean oplatke, used on Christmas Eve and shared with the whole family, from one large piece, if possible. It's a Polish custom. You can mail order it from Polish Arts Catalog.

Maybe check with the Polish American Cultural Center?

        For Posterity's Sake:

I found it at Keidrowski's Bakery in Amherst/Lorain. It was five dollars for a package and it was broken when I got it (kinda annoyed) but hey I found some.

I emailed the Polish Cultural Center and they never responded. I didn't want to buy it online or through a catalog. It was a good excuse to get to know this area better and it seemed weird to not get it in person.
