Las Vegas - private room/fun business dinners

SaraBC_ Dec 9, 2013 12:47 PM

Hi - I've been tasked with finding some good, solid restaurants for business dinners in April. The specs are: Private room/area, something pretty universally enjoyed by people (nothing TOO out of the ordinary) and if possible fun and "cool". We book these dinners every year so we've hit up a lot of the standard spots on the strip but it would be good to hear if anyone has had any good tips. TIA!

What restaurants have you been to already? How much are you looking to spend?

How many people in your party?

Oh man. we've been to so many: Del Friscos, SW, Lakeside, Bartolotta, Carnevino, Morels, Bouchon, Cut, Charlie Palmer, MIxx, Lavo, Picasso, Tao, Capitol Grille I think more, haha. We'll plan a few events throughout a trade show and the guest count can go from 12 to 40.....we do like the private event/room aspect.

Also, the cost can vary...I'm not too concerned about that and would like to present all options we can find...

We had a great meal at Mon Ami Gabi (party of 20) and another at El Segundo Sol.
Both are highly recommended for the combination of good food, atmosphere and reasonable price.

yes, both did. We didn't book Mon Ami Gabi in time, so we had a corner of the restaurant, out of the flow of the restaurant which worked really well (and had an awesome view of the fountains at the Bellagio).
We worked with Rebecca Dumcum (rdumcum@leye.com) for Mon Ami Gabi, and Dusty Kaiser (dkaiser@leye.com) for El Segundo Sol.
Both women were great to work with. Quick responses, flexible with the menu. Then, the nights of the events, the waitstaff was also really great.

you are very welcome; if you contact either of the ladies, please let them know the Baxters from the October wedding event send their regards. Enjoy!

Is off-strip a possibility? Marche Bacchus overlooks a lake and pleasant especially during moderate weather months. Mundo might be fun-- I haven't eaten there recently -- maybe some other CH's could weigh in.

A favorite that I have written about before.....Ferraro's Italian Restaurant on Paradise...across from the Hard Rock. They moved here several years ago from a much smaller venue to acquire group business...but the food remains very, very good.
