what's a good steakhouse in Queens for Lambchop?

lindabakka Dec 9, 2013 08:40 AM

I'm looking to celebrate my birthday at a steakhouse and I don't want to venture into the city. I've already tried uncle jack's & danny brown's but cant think of any other places worth trying.

I was pretty impressed with Christos but we didn't try lambchop. I would say it is on par with Uncle Jack's in Bayside.

The lamb chops at Luger's can be fantastic, but sometimes are just pretty good. The Great Neck location may as well be Queens. We get them as appetizers.

But M Wells is on top of my list for the next dinner out.

Keens (in NYC) is a good place for that kind of thing, but hopefully there are some good Irish pubs left in Queens that might be able to help you out too. http://www.chow.com/food-news/138412/...

yeah I've had the muttonchops at keens many times and it is really wonderful. Besides Uncle Jack's in bayside I've found it really hard to get a nice charred lamb chop in Queens

I had the lamb chops at M. Wells Steakhouse, delicious char, smokiness and seasoning, the caveat being portion size.
