Dinner downtown before Hollidazzle

MaineAppetite Dec 8, 2013 06:27 PM

Any suggestions of a good place to eat on or near Nicollet before watching Hollidazzle? This will be a big family group including our 4-year-old granddaughter. Not too expensive but decent food. We tend to eat other places, not downtown, so don't know where to go.

Try Ike's. They have a big, varied menu that should have choices for all members of the family. Be sure to make a reservation. Their dinner service starts at 4:00 which should give you lots of time.

We were there Saturday night and seated near the door. I could see lots of families with little ones coming in.

There is a Key's Cafe in the Foshay Tower. Very large and easy for families.

I was going to throw in that option too. Ike's is not real budget friendly in my book. Burgers are at a minimum $12.00 IIRC. It's been awhile and they don't have prices on their website.
