Desperate to find another Chinese restaurant in Albany/Berkeley

RnMicki Dec 7, 2013 03:59 PM

I have been eating Chinese once a week from the same spot for the last several years. However in the last month something has changed (and it wasn't good). I truly feel lost. Can anyone recommend a new go to for me. I prefer Albany but will settle for Berkeley if it has easy parking.

    Which one shouldn't we recommend?

Are you talking about King Tsin?

Actually, I was talking about Yummy in El Cerrito.

          L and L Seafood
Parking lot, Large parties of Chinese families seemed to be enjoying themselves. I liked the large portions and low prices.

i think the new King Tsin is worth a try. But it's a different kind of chinese from Yummy.

According to Yelp, there are only four chinese restaurants in Albany:

          China Village
          Renee's Place (veg)
          The Pearl House
          Golden Grain

Can you elaborate on what happened at your regular place?

Since Yummy is in El Cerrito what is wrong with all the nearby El Cerrito and Richmond choices e.g. Daimo, Ancient Szechuan?
