Do I need to oil steam basket if I am going to steam fish?

Hi I have never steamed fish before, I am just curious if I need to oil the steaming basket before laying the fish in?
I was trying to do this without any fat/oil which is why I opted for steaming vs sauteing, baking, etc..

If I don't end up oiling it anyway will a bunch of it stick?

    Lay a piece of cabbage leaf or butter lettuce underneath the fish or on top of the basket. Better yet use one of those large Dinosaur kale leaves.

        I don't.

        If you are going to steam a fish and worry about sticking, then you can always

        1) steam the fish in a plate

        2) lay some vegetable down -- basically separating the fish from the steamer.
