      Yep, Caprice and Bo basically switched places this year.

      And the entire Lei Gardens chain got 1 star.

        Understandable that Caprice got demoted due to the change of Chef. Customary action by Michelin. Same demotion applies to Ming Court. However Bo a 3* and Sushi Shikon?! A lot of Tokyo..... sushi places will cry foul!!

          By HK standard, among the current 5 places with 3-star, don't you think that Sushi Shikon is the most deserving one?

          Along with Urasawa LA & Masa NYC, Sushi Shikon is probably about as good as it gets for someone yearning top quality Japanese cuisine (outside Japan of course), in particular sushi

            I noticed Shikon per their website, is now offering a single omakase course of 5 course appetizer and 10 course nigiri only set, unlike the 3 different prices levels when they were still called Sushi Yoshitake. So in that sense, they are still somewhat affordable...Ginza Iwa's top price level dinner omakase, is also in the $3500 to $4000 range.

      IMO, any chef who smokes a cigar in an open kitchen and interact with the patrons with cigar in mouth does not deserve a 3 star status!! His action, in a way, is a reflection of him either overly arrogant or simply doesn't care much about his cuisine or his customer since who in their right mind would a chef use cigar smoke and smell to mask his own culinary invention?! Furthermore, God help those who ordered wine!! Perfume is bad enough but Cigar?!!
      That was a few years ago, hope he has changed?!

        Ate at bo innovation 6 years ago .. food was interesting conceptually but not blow you away in taste and execution. Service was ok, lacking warmth. Michelin folks definately need to work out their rating system .. went to le cinq recently and the food + service was leaps and bounds better (for a 2 star) .. perhaps unfair to judge paris vs HK 6 years ago but just saying ...
