Alternative to Dunkin Donuts Box o'Joe

seth203 Dec 4, 2013 09:52 AM

I am having a Brunch Party this weekend (30-40 people), and don't want to be continually making pots of coffee on my coffee maker. I could go the Dunkin Box of Joe option, but want to know if there are any alternatives for large bulk brewed coffee that I can get...

Does Starbucks do this?

Any local places? Sweetleaf perhaps?

Please limit your responses to Manhattan, Western Queens, and Greenpoint.

Thank you.

Suggest you post to Outer Boroughs for Western Queens and Greenpoint.

You'll get Manhattan suggestions (if there are any) here.

I would like Manhattan responses but will take your advice and post to outer boroughs for Queens and BK.

Starbucks definitely does it, in fact it's a dollar cheaper than Dunkin Donuts and way better…

PS It takes them 10/15 min to make it but you can call any Starbucks in advance and they will start brewing it for you so you can just go and pick it up.

+1 Starbucks, good enough for what it is, they also give you cups, milk and sweeteners. You must call in advance or potentially get stuck waiting a half hour or so.

Another idea is to see if a friend has a keurig machine you could borrow- you can buy the coffee pods and leave them in a basket by the machine on the buffet and everyone makes their own cup

I don't know where in Manhattan you are, but Bagel & Bean on the west side recently did a great job for me (but I also ordered bagels, I don't know if that will impact the price).

They drop off the coffee and then will come back to pick up the thermos-thing later that day.
