Lunch near Symphony Hall

Headed in on Saturday to see the Pops with my 3 year old. Where should we head for lunch afterwards? He eats pretty much anything, except spicy...so no Mexican or Indian.

We'll probably head to LA Burdick after lunch, so something in that area would be great.

  1. edit: whoops, thought you were talking about burdicks in Harvard Square. but now i see there's one on clarendon st. There is a fun sandwuch place on Boylston near Arlington- Parrish Cafe; menu made up of many sandwiches created by Boston named chefs.

also suggest you do a search under 'Back Bay lunch'.

Thanks! And I never realized we could edit. I'll have to look at that.

    2. When we take our kids (ages 6 and 5) to Symphony Hall, we usually eat at Ginger Exchange on Huntington (replaced Betty's Wok and Noodle Diner). It's definitely not authentic but the boys devour the dumplings and bao, and my husband and I thought their take on the Korean fried chicken (called WOW wings) was decent enough (not Bon Chon level, but...). We also liked the Korean style beef. Haven't tried the sushi.

Brasserie Jo also gets a lot of love and seems like it would be a fine place to take a child, especially at lunch, but we've never been.

      Enjoy the Pops!
