Anyone remember where the old Heidelberg Cafe was ?

      Cool, thanks ! I barely remember the signage but obviously not the location.

      FWIW, my son's choir sang one of Ian Tyson's songs (Four Strong Winds) and while Wiki-ing his past, I came across the Heidelberg.

    2. fascinating photo - looking north - good old Mac Blo "tree stump" towers by Arthur Erickson in the background (ie look at the base of the building in the fountain area on Georgia)

      Robson had the Strasse nickname - I always wondered if it was a genuinely German ethnic neighborhood - or just a marketing idea

      i remember the clog shop and food shops along there -

        LOL. I'm sure Robsonstrasse was as German as Leavenworth was Bavarian ;-)
