Lorenzo's in Allenhurst moving.
Sad to see a sign in their window this morning. Relocating to Freehold! They are a good Italian Restaurant ,but not that good that will have me driving a half hour to eat there. Sorry to see them go.
Allenhurst is a ghost town come late fall/winter and unless there's an eatery that achieve's 'destination' status, or a unique niche, it's going to be tough row to hoe.
I used to enjoy going to the Mexican place that was there as it was cool to be able to drop a half pint/pint of tequila into their pitchers to have with your meal.
But back to my original thoughts: getting through that post Labor Day-Memorial Day trough. It's a killer.
