Going to be staying at the Embassy Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista location. Looking for Italian restaurant recommendations. TIA

Peperoncino is a terrific Italian restaurant on Restaurant Row, not far from Lake Buena Vista. It's small, and filled with locals, so be sure to make a recommendation. Not nearly as impressive, but serving good basic Italian with friendly service, is Bella Tuscany in Windermere, right up a back road called 535. (It's not a back road in LBV but turns into one once you make a sharp left.)

My favorite Italian restaurant in Orlando isn't terribly close to Lake Buena Vista, but it is definitely worth a drive to Wolfie's Pizzamia, near downtown Orlando on Orange Avenue between Princeton and Ivanhoe (easily accessibly via I-4).

The pizza is good, but everything else on the menu is incredible.

You aren't too far from Restaurant Row and I drive.

For Italian check out Pepperoncino - Dr. Phillips area (Restaurant Row)

How about any other types of good restaurants nearby? Anything?

I'm actually looking forward to a return (biz) trip to Orlando in February just to get back to Ming Court! Look at their website but don't let the decor keep you away--their food was very good, and that comes from a northern NJ CH who eats a lot of Chinese food. I'm recalling a chicken and basil hotpot that I looooved, in fact!
