Dinner for 25 people in Dupont/Adams Morgan?

foresthillseater Nov 26, 2013 06:02 PM

I'm hosting a mini-conference for 25 attendees who are all staying at the Hilton in Dupont Circle. I want to plan a dinner at a restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. It can be any kind of food, but I want to showcase something fun and special, since the attendees are all from out of town. The restaurant has to be able to accommodate 25 people (all at one table, if possible), and we have to be able eat and drink for under $75 per person. Any suggestions?

Your best bet is The Pig.

It's a bit of a hike from the Hilton, I'd say about a 15-20 minute walk depending on weather conditions.

But otherwise it pretty much meats all your other criteria (food, private party set up, price, etc.)

Hank's Oyster Bar has a private room. I would give them a call and see if it can accommodate 25 people (not sure if you'll all be able to be at the same table though).

Another fun option would be Boqueria. You can order a bunch of tapas and get pitchers of Sangria.

We have done groups close to that size at Bistro du Coin, which is pretty close to the Hilton and where you can easily manage your budget. Fun place, with delicious frites. it would be worth calling or emailing to see if they can accommodate you. Good luck!
