Tough break for PureBread

Talk about a double whammy, first this: http://www.piquenewsmagazine.com/whis...
This is their cafe and not their baking facility in Function Junction.

And then that tragic crash Saturday morning on the Sea to Sky had the whole highway shut down with their van full of baked goods for the Nat Bailey Farmer's market unable to deliver and missed the market. Apparently they distributed greatly appreciated goodies to first responders.

That is bad news indeed but such a nice way to make use of their lovely bread and pastries.

The Good News is that PB is looking for a temporary retail spot in the village.

Bad News is that owner Paula Lamming is quoted in the local rag as saying it could be a year until the new place is ready to roll-had a look @ the damage today and she's right it needs complete gutting & refurbishing.

Piquenews site reports that Pure Breads is moving into the old Mexican Corner location on Market Place Square-just a Hop, Skip and a Jump from the liquor store!

Well Whistler isn't all that big you're never too far from a liquor store.
