Surprisingly not too much on ESS on this board. I'm an NYC hounder and excited to be heading there tonight. Please let me know if you have had any dishes you would recommend or anything Acheson does particularly well or memorably. Will report back. Thanks in advance!

      1. Thank you all for the recs/advice. We had a great meal there. Started with the "In Jars" which were deviled ham, trout mousse, pickles, pimento cheese & bacon marmalade, boiled peanut hummus in jars served with toast. This was probably my favorite dish of the meal. So many interesting flavors. The pimento cheese & bacon marmalade was fantastic. Still dreaming about it now. We ordered two appetizers as well: the Compressed Apples and the Farm Eggs. The former was a bit bitter and disappointing, but still had interesting flavors. The latter was delicious. Like a Southern take on the Korean bi bim bop with really crunchy rice. Highly recommended. For my entree, I ordered the pork loin which was served with veal sweetbread, pork belly, huckleberry, hedgehog, chard, and baby carrots. This was also a stellar dish. The side vegetables were so fresh and seasonal. I'd have liked to try the tortellini that another in my party ordered but there weren't enough to go around/too delicious to share. Very nice and affordable wine list as well. Overall a great meal. Definitely would go back when I return to ATL in the future.
