Duck eggs in the winter

Lincster Nov 24, 2013 10:01 PM

The thread on duck breasts got me thinking about duck eggs. I know the Mill City market has them when they are open, but where do you find them in the winter? Thanks for any leads!

Northeast Coop carries them year round.

Mississippi Market usually has them, although I haven't checked specifically in the winter. I've seen a sign previously that said they were waiting for the ducks to lay again. Check the co-ops and some Asian grocers like Dragon Star or United Noodle.

Seward Co-op had them on Saturday.

Seward consistently carries local duck eggs from a great farm.
