Christmas gift cards for nieces at U of T

Three go to U of T. Any cute little coffee shops; they love vintage and artsy but good quality. Even great sandwiches, soups, etc.

  1. The U of T undergrads enjoy treats at the coffee/café Mercure, the old Hungarian standby Country Style, Greg's outstanding Ice Cream, the Red Tea Box, Aroma, the Coffee Mill in Yorkville, the Green Bean, the Black Camel for sandwiches, the Grilled Cheese in Kensington Market, where Wanda's Pie in the Sky is also located - these are mainly on or near Bloor St W and every student would be able to add a dozen more!

    1. Also, for coffee I would add Sam James on Harbord, Manic Coffee on College or Moonbeam in Kensington.

      1. I am guessing that a lot of the little places don't have their own gift cards though.

        1. Thanks for the recommendations. I'll be sure to look them up.

          1. I can't find anything about Café Mercure and the only thing that is a close match is in Leslieville.

It's called Bar Mercurio. More casual sister restaurant L'Espresso Bar Mercurio. Both on Bloor West.
