Hi All,

I am trying to find a moderately priced restaurant for my brother who lives in Henderson/Green Valley. He is pretty open to any kind of food, although his most common choices are Indian, Korean BBQ, Chinese (KJ Kitchen, Taiwan Deli, Jugoo, Cathay House), Cheesecake Factory, In-n-Out, pizza. We've gotten him gift cards from Lawry's, Maggiano's, The Capital Grille, Chada Thai and similar places over the years.

I'm considering Todd's Unique and Table 34, but was wondering if you have any other suggestions.

TIA!

How about a gift card to Stations Casinos? They have a variety of restaurants including cafés, steak restaurants, oyster bars, etc. The gift card is valid at all the Station Casinos around town and all of their non leased restaurants. There are two in Henderson, Sunset Station and Green Valley Ranch.

Thanks, but I'm trying to avoid casino food. He can do that on his own.

It sounds like your brother enjoys informal restaurants. A couple of other places that come to mind are Settebello in Henderson and Soyo, the latter a cool Korean place that is youthful and fun, and mixes traditional with modern takes on this often overlooked cuisine. Open late and particularly recommended if your brother likes beer and/or Korean liquors. But it is a 10- or 15-minute drive almost due west from GV/Henderson.

Just looked up Soyo and I may be trying it myself when I get out there!
