Interesting that they're considering opening a new place in Santa Monica. They'll be a welcome addition here, I think!

    1. They're partnering up with the people behind Rustic Canyon, Huckleberry's and Milo & Olive. In a space near Santa Monica Blvd and Ocean Ave. It should be really good.

I agree that it should be good (the food, decor, service at the original location were already quite nice the few times I went). I just wonder what the upcharge will be for SM rent! However, it beats trying to head to Little Tokyo on the weekday, and it will provide something really unique on the westside....

Keeping and maybe upping the SE Asian dish quotient would fill a sorely lacking category in that part of the Westside.

I think Lukshon is somewhat similar, but Lukshon is significantly further south, more fusion-y, and significantly more upscale.

Actually, Arizona and 7th. It will (in current planning) not be Spice Table West, though it will be SE Asian in influence. Zoe Nathan and her husband plan to open a wine shop next door.
