Pretty good - the custard is is fairly nice and basic, and the crust has a nice crispness to it, although not as good as the others.

Gorgeous crust - the gossamer layers of the crust are beautifully puffed out and delicate, bringing a wonderful light texture. Custard is is also fairly delicate, and perhaps a slightly more eggy flavour than Kowloon, although the difference is not huge. But I would have liked it more if there was more custard to crust.

Excellent crust, one could feel the thin fragile flakes snapping individually in a bite, perhaps not as showy as the one from Chinatown Bakery, but still great. The soft custard is given a bright yellow/orange glaze at the top, but after a bite, the cross-section shows a typical lighter yellow. Probably my favourite of the three given the quality of the crust and the balance of custard to crust. Surprisingly, also the cheapest of the lot at 80p vs £1 from the others.
