Lombardo's pizza (white plains) vs. sal's (mamaroneck)

Tried Lombardo's when they first opened and went back yesterday and today.There sicilan absolutely beats what sal's in mamaroneck has been selling for the last few years.Their regular slice (imho) is also superior, but probably more of a personal taste- although Lombardo's seems more consistent- I find Sal's to be very inconsistent. Any opinions?

  1. Have you been to Sal's recently? The guy who made the pizzas there years ago has returned and the pizza in better than ever IMHO (an once again consistent). I've never tried Lombardo's so I can't compare but I'll put it on my list!

      please let me know if you make it to lombardo's- it is also a full service (italian) restaurant, by that I mean primarily what you find listed in many italian/pizza places- perhaps some more upscale listings (and prices).Either way, I thought their sicilian decimated Sal's- they also had a grandma slice that looked like it mostly split the difference in crust height between sicilian and regular- had no room left to try it though.
