Kid-Friendly Restaurant in Logan Circle/14th Street

Hi, all-- Does anyone have any recommendations for good, kid-friendly restaurants in the Logan Circle/14th area? Friends are coming to two with a 5 year old and one year old and need some good suggestions!

  1. The Great Wall. Chinese. From a Chowhound POV, a few stellar Sichuan dishes like ma po tofu, dumplings in red hot sauce plus stir-fried baby bok choy, double cooked pork, yu xiang fish.

Then there is a long list of Chinese-American classics for non-Chowhounds.

    1. Ted's Bulletin is a good match for kids, especially young ones. You might want to see if you can make a reservation though because wait times, especially around breakfast/brunch, can be long---and that is never good with little ones.

Further up towards U Street is Busboys and Poets where I always see kids.

I haven't personally seen kids at Masa 14 but I bet if you go on the early end it wouldn't be a's so loud in there no one would ever be bothered by the kiddies. Same goes for Ghibellina since it's pizza.

      1. I agree with these suggestions, and would add Matchbox (location on 14th and T). You should probably make reservations there as well.

        1. These are great recommendations. We are going to try Busboys and Poets....Thanks everyone!
