Dinner at Khe-Yo (Saturday night at 10pm) - Thoughts on cocktails after?

DevilsAvocado Nov 16, 2013 01:59 PM

Looking for a less rowdy place to grab a cocktail after without a reservation. Quality over scene. Thanks!

Thank you all for your input! Great suggestion all around that I will surely end up using at a later date. I ended up at Pegu as that I hadnt been there in a year and had fogotten about it!

Just a quick synopsis: Their drink menu was still solid and true to form - but I made the mistake of ordering a "bartenders choice." I specificed my drink of choice: rum based citrus drinks.. and got a vodka based cocktail!! The atmosphere (as warned!) did turn very B&T by 11.

Jungsik, Tamarind, Nobu, all have bars which you might find attractive depending on your type of venue. Yes , they are restaurants but w bar service.

Terrior in tribeca is a non- sceney place for a great glass of wine
Ward three is another nearby cocktail bar option:

If you are into scotch and brandy I would highly recommend the Brandy library which should be pretty close by. I really like Pegu Club which is about a 10 min walk to the edge of Soho/Noho. I would get a resy for both even if just for two as they tend to be popular.

+1 for brandy library, but pegu club won't take res for two (has to be 8 or more)

Great atmosphere at Brandy Library but the cocktails aren't that great. Nice liquor list, service, room, etc.

Saturday around 11pm-midnight at Pegu will be pretty packed & you may have to wait in line to get in.
