El Salvadorean in Metrowest?
I need help with my daughter's Spanish class assignment. She's to take a picture of an El Salvadorean restaurant. I view this is a great opportunity to try some new restaurants and Latin American food. Does anyone have any suggestions of restaurants to visit, and how one might know it's Salvadorean?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Well, a great El Salvadorean restaurant that used to be in Somerville has moved to Haverhill (north of Boston, but not so far.) The decoration seems to be Mexican-related but I'm pretty sure the owner and staff are from El Salvador. Give them a call and ask. By the way, the food is great!
i'm thinking framingham might be likely. i would just try google for various towns.
the above brought up 3 or 4 places in fram/waltham. just fyi
Pupusas are the 'national dish' of el salvador. very user friendly/mild flavored and fun for kids btw!
Pupusas y Tacos Dona Sofia in Framingham. I prefer their pupusas to those at Mi Tierra in Waltham.
We went to Mi Tierra in Waltham and really enjoyed it. We shared a Pupusas appetizer, and my daughter had the grilled chicken. I had the chorizo and chile relleno. My husband and son both had the Taco Y Enchilada. My daughter also ordered the Atol De Elote. We loved it all.
Will try Dona Sofia next, but I think Mi Tierra might go on our regular rotation.
Thanks so much for all the help.
