I'm hosting a gathering in a couple of weeks, and I'm looking for a good place in Portland to get some fresh mozzarella, as well as some good traditional antipasto elements. Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

The City Market folks also own Pastaworks on the east side (on SE Hawthorne), so either will do, depending on what side of the river you are on. Those stores would be my first choices, too, for sure.

Thanks, all. I will check these places out this weekend.

Ditto pastaworks. And I like Barbur World Foods in SW.

I ended up visiting both City Market and Pastaworks. Both were great. I found everything I needed, and the people working in both stores were extremely helpful.
