Does anyone know where to find jute leaves? I'm getting a craving for a plasas dish from Sierra Leone and krain krain was always my favorite.
Here's a wikipedia article with some different names for it. Maybe ask at one of the many Indian or Middle Eastern markets around?
Jute, or Molokhia in Arabic can be found in most middle eastern markets and Garlic and Lemons serves Molokhia on Thursdays. It is usually sold dried or frozen. I have only seen it fresh grown in my backyard or at green grocers in Sydney, Aus.
