Good restaurants near Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City?

TWGirl Nov 15, 2013 05:22 PM

We'll be visiting Mexico City for the first time and will be staying at the Four Seasons. Any recommendation for a couple of good restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel? Doesn't have to be some place prestigious or fancy. Already checked Pujol but it has no availability during our stay.

Thank you all!

What are your preferences? At the Four Seasons you're going to be pretty ideally situated as far as culinary options. So many it's hard to know where to begin. You've got Polanco, Roma Norte, and Condesa right nearby, with Centro Historico a short trip. You'll be just a few blocks from Fonda El Refugio for starters, for traditional Mexican. Contramar is easily walkable from there, Azul Condesa a little further down. There's a new place in that area that's been generating some buzz, Angelopolitano. I haven't been yet myself but the food looks very well prepared. Closeby is El Pialadero de Guadalajara if you want to try one of the best tortas ahogadas in the city.
