Does anybody know where to buy organic natto? Or at least natto without preservatives?
I was on the same quest a year ago. I make my own now. I buy organic soy beans and found the starter in the USA. Really easy.
As far as I know, preservatives are never used in natto. I live in Japan and have never seen them mentioned. However, there MAY be some preservatives in the "tare" liquid seasoning that comes with it.
