Fancier: Moscato, Chat, Eastchester Fish, Fig and Olive, Haiku in White Plains.

Dim Sum: Aberdeen (In WP, but only 5 minutes away) or Central Seafood (again about 5 minutes from Scarsdale)

Casual: Scarsdale Metro Dinner, Lange's (in Scarsdale Village); Parkway Dinner (Scarsdale Village)

Moscato in Scarsdale is very good.

Moving away from the Asian suggestions already mentioned, I really like Fig and Olive for lunch.

Chat in Scarsdale is also nice for lunch:

Eastchester Fish, very fresh, nice atmosphere, good variety and a good value at lunch.

I like Eastchester Fish but unless it has changed, they are only open Thursday and Friday for lunch.

What type of cuisine? Hole in the wall ethnic or mid/upscale restaurant?

I just went to Pagoda on Central Ave in Scarsdale for lunch yesterday. It's Chinese food with very pleasant and kind hosts, and they have a lunch priced portion of almost everything on the menu. The lunch specials also come with your choice of soup or egg roll.

Another Asian option, Saigonese on Central Ave, is now offering Banh Mi for lunch.

FINALLY! Have you had it? How is it?

No, we went for dinner and they had a sign up saying that they are serving pate or roast pork banh mi at lunch. It's tough to go for lunch when you don't work nearby, but there is always the weekend! I don't remember if they posted the prices.

How much? I still haven't been because the Pho is outlandishly priced.

I am looking for sit down.

Are you looking for a quick grab-and-go or a sit-down type of place?
